Thuja “Forever Goldie“ PP# 19267 #25

Landscape & Garden Uses

Similar in form and function as the Emerald Green Arborvitae, the Forever Goldy Arborvitae is an excellent choice when looking for an evergreen (or yellow, in this case) to create a screen or natural barrier. Forever Goldy grows pyramidally and reaches a height of 10 feet and width between 3 and 4 feet. The glowing, ruffled foliage stays strong all year and appreciates a little shade from the hot afternoon sun of the south.

Growing Preferences

Choose a sunny spot for this tree. In hotter areas, some afternoon shade is easily tolerated, and even of value. It grows best in mild, moist areas of the country, with good rainfall, such as the central east coast and the northern west coast. It is hardy down to minus 20 degrees, and grows well in humid areas that are not extremely hot. It does best in all deep soils with plenty of organic material, and benefits from good drainage in the soil.
