Cedrus - Weeping Blue Atlas

Landscape & Garden Uses

This dramatic weeping evergreen makes a special addition to any landscape. Superb specimen for minimal-care gardens. Naturally slow-growing with a sprawling horizontal habit, though often trained into an upright, serpentine form. Pendant branchlets display icy-blue needles, creating a graceful, waterfall-like effect.

Growing Preferences

It grows slowly, can be trained to grow upright with sturdy support to a height of 10 feet, or can be allowed to naturally sprawl, waterfall-like, to width of 15 feet over rocks or stone walls. Grows best in full sun in well-drained, acidic, loamy soil.
